  1. Two things here: - Does that mean Baghdad somehow will deal with Kurdistan as a state? - Will there be double imported customs on Turkish goods that go to Iraq since all Iraq border with Turkey is with Kurdistan?

    One Saudi/UAE backing, there’s a tweet of a UAE prof circulating who said this is taking “fight to Iran’s rear,” which Saudi crown prince MBS recently promised in an interview. That’s not proof. It’s possible but uncertain yet. Attack doesn’t appear to particularly sophisticated.

    On the first one, regime will certainly try to take advantage, but this won’t necessarily mean false flag. That separatist group has been active for years and has previously launched attacks.

    Ahvaz National Resistance takes responsibility for the attack, spokesperson of Ahvaz Movement Yaqoub Hur Al-Tastari tells based in Europe. the attack was carried out by Ahvazi youths and over 40 were killed, he claimed.
