Specific Heat Capacity of Metals Table Chart

The specific heat is the amount of heat enregy per unit mass required to raise the temperature by one degree Celsius. The relationship between heat and temperature change is usually expressed in the form shown below where c is the specific heat .

Specific Heat Capacity Conversions:

1 Btu/(lb-°F) = 4186.8 J/(kg-°K)
1 Btu/(lb-°F) = 4.1868 J/(g-°C)
1 Btu/(lb-°F) = 1.8 Btu/(lb-°C)
