  1. There are talks in Damascus about the Syrian Army withdrawing their forces from Deir Jamal in exchange for Turkey withdrawing from Ishtabraq. This would mean Turkish-backed rebels would target Tal Rifa’at and SAA would target Jisr Al-Shughour

    Breaking: SDF troops have entered the strategic town of Baghouz Fouqani in southeast Deir Ezzor. American choppers reportedly providing close support to the advancing forces. SDF is also advancing at the Hajjin axis. This is the town where Daesh’s commanders reportedly moved to.

    I’m sure the opposition supporters had the same anger I did and they probably still do; it’s a personal war for them. I find it pointless to even argue about the war anymore. The sad reality is that the country was going to be torn apart regardless. Now, we are just proxies for

    Then one of my closest friends/cousin was deployed to the Aleppo Central Prison to help stop the FSA/Nusra offensive. I never thought I would hear from him again after we were told he was shot at the southeastern garrison. So yeah, the war became pretty real to me.

    several of my relatives were kidnapped for ransom. One of my aunts actually paid the ransom and she never heard from them again. When the FSA’s offensive started in Aleppo 2012, I became even more agitated because my cousins lived in a neighborhood on the front-lines

    This map is complete and bs. There is no Iranian-backed forces in Abu Dhuhour; it is primarily Russian military at the humanitarian crossing and Tiger Forces in the town. They’re depicting Syrian cities as controlled by Iranian forces, which is utter nonsense.
