    Iraq's problems are far beyond people and leaders. But good leadership still matters. The best thing about Adil Abdulmahdi and Barham Salih is their ability to reach out to all different parties, regional and international players. They also resemble most Mam Jalal's politics.

    Best scenario for governance in Iraq would be an Adil Abdulmahdi premiership and Barham Salih presidency. This duo can help heal post-ISIS Iraq and achieve the consensual spirit of the Constitution.

    I went to this barber. He was so bad I had to stop him in the middle of his skilful destruction of my hair. I was trautimised with every wrong movement of his scissors. If you know a barber who knows how to deal with PTSD let me know.

    Just had to edit a case study of a 9 year old Kurdish boy undergoing psychotherapy because of the Syrian conflict. He watched his best friend die during a bombardment from the Turkish army and constantly shakes from fear. His mother thinks he's possessed and beats him.

    Iraqi politicians who can’t provide water to most oil rich city are busy arguing whether Harun al-Rashid, world’s most powerful ruler 1200 years ago, was a good man or not. Historical revisionism is problematic. It is even so when it is guided by ideological & tribal hatred.
