Some of the maps I published on Twitter so far. My maps cover the topics of conflicts and ethnicity in the MENA region with a special focus on the Kurdish struggle for freedom.

I talked to various sources within Idlib. One important claim was that HTS might change its structure in order to ease pressure on Idlib. Forming a new faction is also on the agenda. Internal discussions are still ongoing but for the first time majority of HTS agrees to the idea

Yet, there are no trials and civil society barely cares. And the ones that really care get persecuted more than the actual Islamists. What a strange world.

The problem is, that this can't be democratically justified in any way. The groups we are talking about committed serious crimes (Jabhat ash-Shamiyah is doing it to this day in Efrîn) and are fundamentally anti-democratic in their design.

And I guarantee you that this is only the tip of the iceberg. If Nederlands is funding Islamist groups with an insane amount of money, then there is no question that Germany and the UK invested amounts that each exceed this by far.

Without research I can tell about three scandals where western governments directly funded Islamist groups: 1. Nederlands funding of Jabhat ash-Shamiyah 2. U.S. arming Jaysh al-Mujahidin 3. German government paying 8.5 Million per year to the propaganda institution DITIB

The consensus of the Western elite on MENA is really criminal. There is barely a fight against Islamist influencers, western Mujahedin are not hindered from joining Jihadis in the east, muliple scandals of funding Islamist groups and the ones that try to stop it get persecuted.

Several reports about continued clashes in Baghuz al-Fawqani. Note: Some sources also mention clashes in as-Susah, but these are referring to as-Susah subdistrict in general and thus to the front at Baghuz al-Fawqani.

And finally, regarding the global political situation: Why are the most powerful movements against the status quo in Europe and the US movements that want to replace it with an even worse system?

Which persons are responsible for this decision? Why is it that I read stuff like that every day? Why is the West so morally rotten but still everyone here believes we're the good ones?

Sometimes when I read stuff like that, I'm thinking about what would be adequate to write. And then I simply don't find the words. How can society accept something like this?

The men (because all I see is men in the mob) are nothing short of savages. May God protect the Copts in Egypt and Christians in the Middle East.

Just had a call with my aunt. While she lacks water some times for days, on the other side of her street a rich man opens a carwash. So you’ll be forced to not shower for days while some Mas’uls car is blingin. When will Kurdistan people have a life in dignity?

I have to add this, where he claims he reported about every single civilian victim of the Turkish invasion. Don't wanna be rude Mr. Röpcke, but mention at least one time you reported about a civilian victim in Efrîn the last 3 months.

About half a year after the fall of Efrîn, this is one of the tweets that aged quite badly. The Turkish auxilliaries are still terrorizing the civilian population. Murder, kidnappings, torture and looting are happening on a daily base.

When people went out en masse in Afrin and elsewhere in Rojava to protest Turkey’s invasion, all I heard from the pro-“rebel” analysts was mumbling about “Authoritarian PYD, PKK, Legitimate Turkish security concerns,” and so on. We all saw how they relativized Turkey’s invasion.

Searching for something else, I accidentally stumbled upon this from half a year ago: In retrospective a very poor claim. Instead of attacking AQ or Assad, Turkish auxilliaries turned Efrîn into a hell and are busy looting and killing civilians to this day.

1/ The evil thoughts daesh planted in peoples minds not always disappear. The mother of 18 y/o Juhaynah al Issa believed women were not worth anything & she raised her daughter with beatings, insults. Juhaynah could not bear it anymore & joined female fighters⬇️

Just tried to get some update from occupied Balochistan, just to realize that twitter deleted the accounts of BLF and BLA. Social media is increasingly getting a tool for terror states, as corporate interests weight more than civil ones.

Government Reports suggest 62% of Balochistan's population does not have access to safe drinking water. This village is lucky to have a well instead of an open pond as a water source.
