  2. It's an understatement to say what a disappointing way Israel chose to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the with the demolition of Khan Al Amar. But perhaps it's the most fitting reminder that Oslo is dead, and the two-state solution clearly unattainable.

But what I will give to Charles is that I don't see him trying to reinvent himself at this stage by covering for Assad or any other war criminals.

Also, this Sam Heller - Charles Lister spat needs to just stop. It's childish.

Shehabi has been part of a campaign to delegitimize any Syrian opposition to Assad, helping to justify the atrocities committed in Assad's name. If it's just al Qaeda, then shucks, you can hit them with anything. What Shehabi does is complicity in war crimes.

It's pretty relevant when the regime has tried since the beginning to lump all opposition forces into being either al Qaeda or their BFF. Nuance matters, who is doing what and why matters. Shehabi, as usual, is playing the same game he always: its Assad vs al Qaeda.

The Federalist, obviously, followed by a Salena Zito piece talking about how white collar republican officials who may have voted for a Democrat in the 1960s don't see this as an important issue and think trump is a strong leader.

I care not one bit for the supposedly frustrated Trump aides. I care not for their well being, any plight they are going through, and certainly not for their future. You reap what you sow. Repent and I'll start listening. Repent, and do it publicly.

Guy who bragged about the size of his building after the twin towers fell, also leader of the birthed movement, also also guy whose lawyers wouldn't let him talk to the special prosecutor because he's such a compulsive liar, doesn't believe 3000 Americans died in Puerto Rico. Hmm

The only person taking heat is Trump. Is this distracting the governors of the most affected states? Local emergency management personnel? The county dog catcher? No. It's not disrespectful to call for accountability from an administration that let 3000 Americans die during Maria

I feel like the level of distraction this is causing is minimal. Trump's administration botched the response to Hurricane Maria, it is rightly being called out on that ahead of another major storm. This gets in nobody's way. Calling for accountability is always right.
