    5/ As recently pointed out, I feel like most authors in this field of study are just orientalists I think most of then would not dare to claim such universal scholarship if their subject strickly concerned their home country or an region close.

    We need such smart discussions on a fundamental issue in the ME. Orientalism is most present in jihadism studies, and that calls for a radical change:
