double post appeared after editing. Filling it with happy days... in Kühne family

    Mission and Missionary

I found no sign of any missionary in the ordinary meaning, but from inside of what they do: They will always be missionary and on a mission. That is simply needed in order for success. One can label it whatever, Dr, spy, red cross worker or simply feel the fundamental aim in the humanitarian mission: To spread health, human rights and so on. Often in dangerous locations and time... That needs a missionary mind.

On a mission for health, human rights .. a hard work that might take its toll
but they are missionaries on a mission. Or otherwise the would not be there at all.

Thomas Percicvale Thompson, much personal information about him, some about his father mother and two brothers ... links to the Mass poisoning in Oregon 1942.

47 Dead in state Oregon Hospital
Unsuspecting poisoner of 47 in hospital is dead

    Third brother
Robert J Thompson born in 1879, died before 1900.

Considerable efforts made to find more data about both Lizzie Cheesman and Anna - Hilda Thompson, but very little found, beside the already known. Nothing about their life together. More might surface... Googling strictly "Anna Van Laven" gives 3 answers after this is public. "Anna VanLaven" gives heritage lead. Some earlier sources hint, Indiana, some dutch or Dutch East India.

Joseph Cheesman Thompson seems to have been married twice

    Anna Thompson
    Emilia Kalisher

Emilia Kalisher in one newspaper is presented as one of the most well known women artist in San Fransisco. She appears to have been spoken several languages and her parents was born in Germany. Studied and traveled in Europe early on. Later seems to have traveled with Dr Thompson to the orient as well as in Europe, afterwards holding symposiums and having public talks about it. Marriage appears to take place in 1904
