    Idlib is ruled by 10,000 al-Qaida-linked fighters. This is not acceptable, it can not stay that way and it can not be defended. Solution should be US led military operation to defeat jihadist in # Idlib and after that UN lead negotiations for political solution.

    The Army of Conquest defeated SAA in back in 2015. Jihadists knocked down Tiger Forces. Now Syrian Al Qaida is prepared to fight again and SAA can't afford to loose again. Real risk is that Assad uses chemical weapons (again).

    The SAA isn’t facing the FSA or a group that they can negotiate with. Once they reach this area, it’s mostly HTS and TIP. I don’t know if there are any rebel groups that are more difficult to fight in Syria than these two.

    International community doesn't know what it want's to defend in Syria. Syrian civil war is not about the right and the wrong or about creating a democratic system. The proof of that can be found north of Idlib in Afrin.

    Why is a country with massive amounts of oil unable to have its own electricity generation? Let’s be honest Iraq’s relying on Iran for electricity is becaus Iraq’s leadership wanted the country beholden to Iran and didn’t invest in infrastructure, hence protests
