Its surreal to dig up these papers and see, for instance, the Sabah front page, which includes a cheeky PKK member celebrating Newroz next to Erdogan’s comments vowing safe passage out of Turkey for militants and no extrajudicial killings by security forces.

Whats interesting with many of these tweets is that many of them are erased, either by Twitter or by those who tweeted it to not get their accounts closed down. Twitter is basically helping Turkey to erase traces of Turkey’s war crimes in Afrin.

Just got an e-mailed from about a Turkish court order that mentions an old tweet from January about the Afrin assault. Twitter really needs to stop taking legal complaints from Turkey.

According to Röpcke, making sure that an ambushed -backed jihadist is dead with one extra bullet is "terrorism" & "resembles ISIS"... But... Turkey-backed jihadists beheading dead ISIS jihadists and screaming "Allahu Akbar" is "no indication for nothing."

The institutionalized racism towards Kurds in Turkey is not limited to state institutions but also NGOs like and . In basic terms: What would be a huge issue for these NGOs in Turkish Turkey is not an issue whatsoever in Kurdish areas for the same NGOs.
