    As per this Iranian media, the missiles were sent from Urmya, inside Iran.

    The Iranian fighting jets attacked the residential camps of the Kurdish Iranian opposition parties in Koya city, Erbil, the Kurdistan Region. Nine ppl (including children and women) were killed, over 30 got wounded.

    KRG statement: "Despite condemning the attack, the KRG reiterates its opposition to use the KRI territories to attack the neighboring countries & it is unacceptable in any ways... We hope it won't be repeated." KRG seems to have issued a statement against K/sh parties not Iran.

    The Iranian artillery has been shelling the border areas in Choman & Bradost for the last three days. The villagers have fled their villages. The Kurdish Iranian armed opposition parties exist in some places, inside , but not areas Iran is shelling. Pressure on ppl & gov.

    The Kurdish Iranian opposition parties' residential camps in the Kurdistan camps are not military camps. Hundreds of families living in the camps in Koya together since beginning of 1990s. 's attack is in opposition to int'l law, 's sovereignty & all human values.

    Sources say the death toll hit 11 & the injured hit 35. The photos of the injured in the Koya hospitals. The hospital call for blood donors to visit the hospitals due to the large number of the injured. The death toll may increase as some injured in severe situation.

    Fair enough. But this is also a wake-up call to the ruling elites: are sick and tired of Iranian meddling and influence in Baghdad and Erbil/Suleimania.

    Anyone who thinks burning down the Iranian consulate is good for Iraq is seriously mistaken. Anarchy is not a viable alternative to the ruling class

    Three Kurdish political prisoners in Iran, Zaniyar Muradi, Luqman Muradi, Ramin Hussein Panahi, at imminent risk to be executed on Saturday (tomorrow) by the Iranian regime. The three prisoners have already been transferred. The families have confirmed.
