Why President Ram Nath Kovind, first lady was stunned at Czech Republic?
President ram Nath Kovind is currently in a three nation tour to Cyprus, Bulgaria and Czech Republic and on Thursday while he was attending an event at Prague, Czech Republic, both President with his wife were stunned to see the performance by the artists.
While attending the Indian community reception with the wife, Ram Nath Kovind was mesmerized to listen the Indian song at the foreign soil and the credit goes to the India-Czech Sinfoinetta Orchestra. The reaction of the president soon become as a trending news.
The evergreen song from the movie Blackmail- ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ was sung by the Indian born artist Debashis Chowdhary accompanied by his team. Along with the Orchestra team who was thoroughly enjoying the song, President ram Nath Kovind was also seen surprised as well as mesmerised by the performance.
This was not the first time when any minister was shocked with the craze of Bollywood songs among the foreigners. Last month when External affair Minister Sushma Swaraj visited Uzbekistan, she was surprised to see a women chanting the lyrics of famous song ‘Ichak Daana, Beechak Daana’ from the Raj Kapoor movie ‘Shri 420’.
Followed by the women’s singing, Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar took to twitter with the video showing the women singing Bollywood song with a caption read out as, “Bollywood knows no boundaries! More so in Uzbekistan where Raj Kapoor and Nargis are household names. Salute to this Uzbek woman for her spirit as she hums the song”.
