Influence of typhoon on aircraft service and airport access of 5 Sep (as of 13 O'clock)

【Current Operation Suspension】 Airport Operation update (Sep. 5th 13:00pm) 

September 5th, 2018(13:00 pm)

Wednesday 5th all flights are scheduled to be cancelled.

Although access to the airport has been restricted, the Bay Shuttle from Kansai Airport to Kobe Airport is to commence operation from around 6 am on Sep. 5th.

We are deeply apologies for the approximately 3,000 passengers that are left in Kansai International Airport to be experiencing the inconvenience. 

 

Runway

Both Runway A and B are closed. There are no clear plans for re-opening the airport within the day of Sep. 5th.

 

Connection Bridge

Both railways and cars are restricted.

(Due to the collision of the tanker ship at around 2:40 pm on Sep. 4th, the pier on the South side is damaged).

※Start shuttle bus operation between Kansai International Airport and Izumisano Station

 

Speed Boat (Kobe Airport-Kansai Airport Bay Shuttle)

The Bay Shuttle from Kansai Airport to Kobe Airport is to commence from around 6 am on Sep. 5th. (Due to the special operation, boarding of speedboat is free of charge)

* Please proceed to the bus stop 12 on the street side of the terminal 1 building.

* Please be aware that boarding from Kobe Airport is not allowed.
