    It's surprising that a character like Isaac leads the Smash Bros. wishlists now. Golden Sun was never big, it is fairly old and it's presence in Smash has diminished over time. He doesn't have a striking visual design or super intriguing powers. The power of the old guard.

    As a result, our work is constantly tainted and pictured in a bad light. As it should be: is far form perfect. Far for too competent, even. We are glad people reach conclusions by themselves. But we were happier if more of those were informed takes.

    Our Skull Kid statement is a perfect example of this. Usually ""leaks"" are comprised of things people want to hear. What we get to publish may or may not be that. When it is the second case, the people who don't want things we published to happen join the old guard of critics.

    When many people think about "leaks" they think about little nuggets of hype gifted to them in advance of happenings. A good portion of you publishing is about things that are not going well behind the scenes and/or stuff that isn't happening the way people expect.

    This has resulted in reports that have been consistently confirmed, some of them being widely reported. That people are entitled to their opinion, a fair one at that. They are living proof for us that first impressions matter and that the Internet will always remember.

    We are aware of a sizeable number of people all over the internet that still gauge the validity of our publishing on the first one we ever did 6 months ago. We explained what happened in great detail and ever since we have changed our formation, some sources and MO.

    Seeing how abrasive a considerable number of the reactions to our Skull Kid statement have been, we're glad we've made it. Hopefully the toxic people who's most invested in the character have drained their will screaming how we're a fraud to bother someone else when it happens.

    It really shouldn't come as a surprise that a Direct will happen in the next 1-2 weeks. You've got Switch Online coming in the 2nd half of Sep and they'll want to push it with all the upcoming "online" games. We're still waiting on the remaining 10 "free" games to be revealed too
