Because the judge saw her as guilty until proven innocent, and the prosecutor refused to back down, she had no choice but to plead guilty.

She could have gone to trial and maybe found innocent, but she would be risking dying in prison for that small chance.

Since then, she has been abused, had her belongings stolen, raped twice, been sent threats, has lived in extreme poverty, attempted suicide>
