as someone who actually WAS coerced into sending nudes as a minor and eventually lied about my age to do it more, I can see that it's possible the minor lied, and it's certain that the courts were abusive and transphobic, it's just a little hard for me to actually grasp internaly

I understand. If I wasn't so deep into the research of this case, I'd have my doubts too. I don't expect that everyone will believe everything they see, especially given the connotations behind the labels involved. Stumbling on Sisk's story drastically changed my perspective.

Also, what happened to you is definitely worth discussing because such things are horrible and damaging, but I'd be careful putting that stuff out in public forum. In most states, releasing under-aged porn is a felony, and the statute of limitations is almost always 15 years.

oh cool so i can be arrested for being manipulated by predators, which given how the treatment of trans women went in this story would probably go badly for me

Depending on where you live, yeah. It sucks big time. Despite what you were told as a kid, the US justice system is only there to protect you as a secondary measure. The primary measure is for-profit incarceration, and the definition of sex crimes in the US is insane.

It's ironic that the system grilled me for "victim shaming" after they reviewed my J4S fundraiser when the system itself has been guilty of the same for decades, and it's not likely to change any time soon. Still, it's good to talk that stuff out with trusted friends.

I appreciate you taking a second look at all this. Many would have scoffed at walked away. Be careful, though, when approaching naysayers. Some of them have proven to be dangerous. And by that I mean they dox people.
