    Assad is popular these days: - Greece imports phosphate from Assad as if is the only place that has the mineral. - Polish minister visits Assad so they can deport the handful of Syrian refugees back. - France sending aid to regime areas while cutting it to opposition.

    Actually nothing new. Everyone has to obey to the YPG/PKK rules. All who don't obey are enemies, fascists, totalitarians etc. In reality, the YPG/PKK is just a Kurdish, marxists version of Baathists.
