Over the past 7 years, it was never the right time for the Syrian opposition to go after Nusra/HTS. Nusra/HTS managed to build a hostage situation. However they are one of the main reasons why rebels lost the war.

If Turkey manages to convince Russia & deter an assault on Idlib, HTS would become wiped out and the FSA would do what it should have done years ago: To get rid of extremists

For sure. Even many low level soldiers inside HTS prefer Turkey over HTS as many joined them for other reasons than ideology

It is absolutely a " Friendly or Hostile" stuation. Turkey forces HTS to choose U.S support of Turkish wings. In fact. HTS shall leave CIA connections immediatelly for public's good.
