Ok, theres litterally no way you can be in any fandom now without knowing what Undertale is. This guy is just baiting and trying to get a rise out of people.

Oh I think he's genuine, it's just indicative of how closed off and out of touch he is with anything outside his headspace
-
Yeah, this is a neo nazi who thinks the 3rd reich got an unfair bad rap. We're not looking at people in touch with history, facts, making sense, or being reliable at holding their drool in

I'm not even a gamer furry, and I'm 50 years old, and I know that Undertale is a video game with interesting philosophical implications about how one's actions affect those around you. Like, what furry doesn't know about Undertale? Jeebus.

I don't mean to sound paranoid, but this is, from my outsider-observer on twitter status, to look like an active disinformation campaign against you. Maybe not Russian Election Interference, but... stir up discord, weaken the community, -----, profit (of some sort)
-
The alt-right pretends ignorance on topics fairly often, in an attempt to 1. put the burden of explanation on others, and 2. whip up the uninformed or paranoid into a frenzy to pad their numbers on a harassment campaign. They knew full well Undertale's a game.

It was literally inescapable for the better part of a year. I found reading about fascinating. I don't play video games, but it sounded like a really good example of teaching morality through storytelling.
-
It's a fantastic game, and I know it's been recommended to hell and back, but it does stuff others games haven't. And it's cute and fun (if you're into the genre). Plenty of amazing games out there, some may not be great to play, but do something special and memorable.
-
Not saying you gotta play them, but if you want, you can watch a spoiler free let's play. For some games I know, I'd highly recommend it because the gameplay is... Far below the other strengths of the games.
-
Let's Play is basically the only way I engage with actual videogame play. I've read more about Undertale than I have watched gameplay, but I grew up on Zork. Gameplay doesn't have to be riveting to watch to be riveting to play.
-
I'd recommend some of the let's plays by super great friend then. He adds a kind of dry humor and loves the cheese and weirdness of games. The D series is good, but deadly premonition is amazing. D2 does some really interesting things at the end that I liked for it's era.

These alt types are disgusting. If they're anything like the big boys in D.C., they're also projecting something terrible and I don't want to be anywhere near them.

I was at the Undertale panel. We talked about our favorite characters and funny moments and drew fan art. It was cute and sweet and ANTI CREEPY.

Haha, one of the runaway dark-horse indie successes of indie game development, and they're pretending not to know it? The game affected me rather a lot, I'm nerdily writing a (completely non erotic) fanfic, even.
-
Oh believe me, plenty of people don't know what Undertale is It's just that all but one of the people I know who don't aren't on the internet and the other simply has no interest in video games
