Our partners in Syria, the #YPG/#PKK, have been running a terror-insurgency in Efrin: assassinations, bombings, murdering those is kidnapped, etc., against #Turkey and allied rebels. Now spreads construct theories that the Turks are behind these attacks.pic.twitter.com/eNkHFy4naX

Didn't they have a tweet in which they clearly targeted civilians they considered "collaborators". Didn't save it but I'm certain they did

Yes they did tweet it and subsequently erased it but more importantly than what they tweet is what they do. They killed this man last June because he didn't vote HDP and they have a long history of executing everyone who opposes Ocalan or who is considered a "collaborator"pic.twitter.com/DZEvHgGeIC

Same old PKK. First they act. If it gets positive reaction, they own it. If not, they accuse MİT. In the mean time, they make up another 3-letter named organization and this fake non-PKK organization claims these publicly unpopular acts. Expect this last stage now.

Some in the West either keep forgetting or hiding this obvious fact.

Not hiding it. Some in the West know, others just ignorant. Daesh has higher priority and PKK are disciplined. However, Turkey in NATO and as a close partner should obviously override PKK vs Daesh.

If the PKK or the YPG are terrorists, then who is voicing & fighting for Kurdish rights in Turkey & Syria?

The u.s started arming them when the pkk was in negotiations with turkey.thats why you actually had multiple pyd/ypg meetings in turkey before 2016.even Erdogan said that the ceasefire would be permanent and pkk will surrender.then in 2016 the Ankara bombing happened.

Initially, Turkish government declared the name of assailant as Salih Necar, a Syrian Kurd who was trained by YPG, PKK and Syrian government.Later, DNA reports confirmed that perpetrator was Turkish-born Abdulbaki Sönmez, not Syrian-born Salih Necar.
