    What should one expect to happen when the same ‚analyst‘ who foretelled that Turkey wont capture Al-Bab & that Afrin will be controlled by Assad, now predicts that Idlib will be handed over to Assad after Turkey convincing the opposition to reconcilate with Assad? 🤔

    Everytime the Assad regime amassed its troops to start an assault on Idlib Turkish authorities visited Moscow. This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks. As I wrote in my article, Russia will pressure Turkey with shelling & airstrikes either to leave or to get rid of HTS and Hurashiddeen

    Good news for Afrin residents: Several factions including Jabht Shamiyah, Firka Hamza, Ahrar al Sharqiyyah, Ahrar al Sham & Firka Abdulhamid decleared their readiness to disband Sultan Süleyman Shah which conducted several crimes against civilians recently.

    On my article I evaluate the Turkish efforts in northern Syria and show the Turkish dilemma about the fate of those areas. Especially in regard to the YPG presence in northeast Syria. Turkey‘s vision isn’t clear as there are arguments for a de-centralised and centralised Syria
