#Turkey 's foreign minister wrote in USA Today that his country is "committed to being an ally." Here he is visiting two Turks who are in jail for beating up Americans who demonstrated against Pres Erdogan in Washington DC in May 2017.pic.twitter.com/vvCgFROH3l

In fairness, it was on Mr. Erdogan's orders.

Allegedly; furthermore let’s not misrepresent what happened. The protesters were PKK supporters, a terrorist organisation, they were protesting without a permit, they were disturbing the peace and calling President Erdogan a “baby killer”. And, no, I’m not condoning the brawl

Steven I'da rather say Erdogan's Foreign Minister instead of Turkey's... Akp's government does not act to be Turkey's government, just pretends to be, but actually Akp-gov's aim is to get rid of crimes they committed both domestic and international.

Us should protect foreign presidents. İn that day our president vandalized by terrorists. And US dont do anything. So what would Guards do?

It was his job to visit the member of the delegation who was put in the jail. If strong security measures were taken, no terror supporters would attact the delegation and they would not get beaten. Your remarks is not helping TR/USA relations.

If Erdogan and his gangsters-from the “presidential guards” all the way up to the foreign minister don’t understand you cannot assault and batter US citizens - especially on American soil - then an additional round of sanctions is warranted. Rotten Authoritarians.

Half of the people who were attacted by the terorrist were also US citizens. Guards helped and saved US citizens from attacts from your terorist friends. Sanctions has nothing to do with this. Attacters received what they deserve. Foreign minister is doing his job only.
