Photographer's Note

A short trip to Dooars for three days was so refreshing. The Northern part of West Bengal is always so attractive and so beautiful with rivers, tea plantation, mountains, lash green fields and clear blue sky. This time we were heading for Bindu, the last village in the Indo-Bhutan border. This picture was taken from the door of a moving train-Kanchankanya Express. The place is somewhere near Damdim, after crossing the Teesta river. This is the first time I am going to the dooars by train, my earlier trips were all made by cars. I think both the trips are equally beautiful.
In the return path we took the road journey and noted the name of this river. The name is Chel. You can spot a fisherman catching fish in the distance. It was so dramatic with rain clouds, green fields and the rocky river bed that I could not resist myself from clicking the camera.
