  5. The Armenians, Alawites, Kurds, Yazidis and all the minorities in Turkey and in the region have issues with the Turkish State's History and presence actions and policies. But we are not against the Turkish People which most of them are just victims of Erdoganism. 5/6

  6. We do NOT want animosity with Turkey. The Yazidis want to live a peaceful life in their homeland, to have their own protection forces under Iraqi security umbrella and have assurances that Genocide won’t be repeated. 4/6

  9. warplanes were some 10 minutes flight from Sinjar and Kocho when the Yazidi Genocide unfolded in 2014, He could have sent two of his 1056 planes to stop ISIS advance, BUT HE DIDNOT. Erdogan did not care about the Genocide, nor cared about thousands of women enslaved. 1/6

    Mam "Uncle" Zaki Shingali and his fellow Kurdish fighters intervened on August 7th, 2014 in Sinjar, and with the support of US-led airstrike and Yazidi fighters, 150,000 Yazidi lives were saved from ISIS. Today, Turkey conducted an airstrike and killed him in Shilo area.

    Today we remember the 1700 individuals who were either killed, or enslaved, and those who survived, became a symbol of struggle. It is very painful that until today, there is no investigation of this crime, and there is no special court proceedings for Kocho.2/3

    Kocho (Kojo) will always be the deep wound that beautiful village. was a source of goodness and giving to the poor. It was a focal of humanity, of simplicity, of love for life. It is the broken heart for Sinjar, and today we remember it. 1/3

    On this day 11 years ago, Al-Qaeda attacked Yazidi villages South of Sinjar using trucks loaded with explosives. Hundreds of Yazidis were killed & over 1400 are still missing. Same villages were again attacked by ISIS-same group of terrorists under a different name.

    Tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of Massacres on hand of the so-called Islamic State where 1700 Yazidis (women, men, and children) were under siege for 12 days. On the 15th Aug 2014, men and older women were summarily executed, while girls & children were taken captive. 2/3

    Today we commemorate the 11th anniversary of Al-Qaida attacks on in Sinjar where more than 1400 Yazidi were killed, missing, or severely injured. At that time, Al-Qaida members exploded 4 trucks in the markets of Til Azir and Sibaye towns south of Sinjar. 1/3
