I wanna share what happened to me last night so fellow #FWA2018 attendees can be aware of a middle-aged man who approached me while I was in fursuit. Regardless of if you're a man or women please just stick up for yourself and tell him to shove off. You need to stop looking like a victim and this type of stuff won't happen to you. What if there wasn't a guard or cop there? Be proactive and show some backbone.
Here is what you are not going to do, blame the victim. If you have ever been harassed a day in your life you would know that simply telling the harasser to “shove off” doesn’t work. Harassers think it’s a game and will persist because they love the “challenge”.
Wtf? Easier said than done pal, especially in fur suit. People take advantage of the costume and only see a costume sometimes and not the person. Ive been in these shoes, it’s not easy to get away sometimes. Shove off.
What if the perp is the bigger person in terms of strength while the "victim" has no means of self defense? I guarantee you won't be saying that if you are ever in that situation. No one should have to fear for their safety.
I'm of the peeps who can act very aggressive and direct when someone is harassing me. But I'm quite sure that I couldn't do it. In fursuit I can't see everything, I can't breath freely, I can't even kick since the fursuit has paddings and a dropped crotch.
No 1 would take my anger seriously since I'm a fckn cute plush doggo anyway. Also fursuits are so expensive. I'm not sure if I want to risks any harm 2 it because of an asshole. It should be commonsense that harassment should be not tolerated. Help victims instead of blaming them

How dare you? Have you ever been harassed? Have you ever been harassed in FURSUIT when everything about your ability to defend yourself or even SEE is severely limited? You need to re-evaluate what is important about what happened to this person, and how you view others.
