I am very disappointed in the changes to the ordering system that have no regards for the customer. In fact, I question the ethics of the bait and switch. I ordered a tesla, gave them a deposit, and then several months later they change the agreement. I'm trying to cancel. Web site not allowing this and a min. of 1 hour hold at the 877 number.
Won't buy a tesla, since this history shows me that their is serious problems in managing the company.

The ordering process is pretty straight forward, way better than going to the car dealership and waiting for an answer from the crooked sales manager!!

Can't you see? Its their new tactic: keep you on hold until your car is ready.
This site is where everyon can let out their frustrations. Some people live in perfect worlds with absolutely no fun ustrations and this allows them an out when things don’t go as they expect in a perfect world.
If there are ethical problems with evidence, please contact Tesla’s legal department with the facts and they will follow up. Serious ethical violations are a liability for any public company and needs to be rooted out.

Seriously, what is wrong with Tesla? I configured on 6/27 with a delivery estimate of Sept to Nov, and a month later I have a VIN and delivery date in August? Why won’t they honor that later delivery date? Bait and switch! /s

Clearly Tesla does not tell the truth. They told me in June my car would be ready September-November and they had the gall to deliver it two weeks ago. Plus they mislead me when they said it would be a great car. Actually, it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought. I’ve come this close to giving them a piece of my mind, but I’ve been too busy driving.
