Why would a director of a conflict resolution&dialogue program at a “non-partisan” institute feel the need to drop such a comment on Twitter about a person she met &who has an important role in a conflict they monitor? She must been the least smart Director I’ve ever seen tweet..

Needless to say, I don’t agree with the comment on Saleh Muslim, and I also have an opposite perspective of a person who led one of the most successful movements and which made great achievements against all odds in a war which has been very complex.

Besides being the dumbest comment I read today, this tweet summarize what I think about Institutions with focus on Middle East and their personnel. They are full of biased and ignorant people who don’t know Kurds and who portray their institutions as “non-partisan”.

I have been impressed by & accomplishments of Kurdish leaders. The Kurds were one of poorest & most abused people in Syria before civil war. One could argue they are only winners of this terrible War. Only group in Syria to show real unity w accepted leaders. Bravo

It’s a shame to see , a publication I hold in high regard, publish this. Afrin was invaded, ethnically cleansed and occupied by Turkey and its Islamist proxies. It was peaceful and secure before this invasion. Why help these criminals get tourism on stolen land?

Important thread. The reason for removing a few settlers in Afrin from Ghoutha comes after UN visit in area and has more to do with which specific people Turkey wants to resettle in occupied Afrin.

Turkish teachers tasked w enforcing assimilation on Kurdish children r another type of soldiers for the Turkish state. They don't carry weapons, but their contribution 4 TR's criminal ethnocidal policies r arguebly more. These "teachers" should be punished for crimes ag humanity.
