I didn’t get out of bed for days after the election. I sobbed. People said I was overreacting. No. I. Wasn’t. #WeKnew

So many heartless people criticizing you! I’ve suffered from depression for many years & I stayed in bed for 2 days after the election. I was grieving; I think a lot of people were as well. I thought trump was a horrible man long before he was a candidate.

Depression is a diagnosed condition. There’s a medical code for it. I honestly don’t think it’s an instant result from a person’s candidate losing an election.

I have depression, see a psychiatrist, & am on medication for it. People were depressed & anxious after the election. I've talked to my Dr about it & she said I'm not the only one. Please don't tell me about how my depression works. Only my dr & I know.

When people say how they feel no one has the right to try to invalidate their feelings.

I have depression. I have some understanding of it from experience. If you have depression it’s not Trump’s fault. It may not be yours but it isn’t his. It gets worse when you focus on yourself. It helps when you turn your focus outward. Be careful not to use it as an excuse.

Ok mansplainer, you do not tell me what the cause of my depression and anxiety is. And don’t tell me how to deal with it. His actions are causing a lot of people to feel anxious. If you have depression you should know it’s different for everyone.
