These are tricky times for OPEC, thanks to real (Venezuela), unpredictable (Libya) and potential (Iran) supply shortfalls

Which was preceded by Turkey's facilitation of open-ended movement of fighters across the Syr-Trk border, permissiveness to jihadists setting up shop in Turkey's southeast, and manifest inability to manage concerted opposition to ISIS or Assad.

Mr. Secretary, the regime in Tehran is odious & corrupt. But your claims to stand with the oppressed would be more compelling if Trump wasn’t *celebrating* authoritarian leaders (Putin, Xi, Kim, El-Sisi, Erdogan, etc.) everywhere else & wasn’t challenging the rule of law at home.

There is small, but significant, interest on the right in a market-based solution to carbon emissions. For pro-science conservatives (and there aren't a ton in the modern GOP), it's sort of an obvious answer.

Because at this point, it's not about whether one is Gulenist or not. It's about wielding the power to control the fates of those within the political hierarchy, thereby extracting complete obedience.

As a Najafi-Iraqi-Arab-Iranian-Azeri-Turk-Shia-Muslim-British-Londoner, I’ve often been confused when people have a problem with hyphenation or insist that one identity must negate another. As if “deep down” humans can be boiled down to just one thing (other than being human!)
