Polarized vs non polarized sunglasses advantages and why you need them.

To start we need to understand what is a polarized lens and how polarization works.  Our problem to beat here is called Glare and this is simple the reflexion or refraction of light due to the type of materials it goes through. To easily understand a mirror or  clean car will reflect the sun light and will in most cases blind you putting you at risk if doing any type of activity such as driving, crossing the street, cycling and many others.  Polarization works in the following way: Lenses could be glass, plastic, or Aluminum (shh the next) and a chemical product is applied on the material and the effect is makes is polarization “A light wave that is vibrating in more than one plane is referred to as unpolarized light. … Polarized light waves are light waves in which the vibrations occur in a single plane. The process of transforming unpolarized light into polarized light is known as polarization.”  Source

So basically the light that you see through the lens comes from many planes of reflexion and when polarized the reflexion are nulled because it permits 1 plane of light to pass through.

So the question is are polarized sunglasses better?  if the Lenses to be compared let it be acrylic, polycarbonate, composites ( plastic and glass in layers) or just glass have the necessary filters for UV400 light then we can affirm that Polarized Sunglasses for men are better than non polarized.
