Reminds me of those scenes in DS9 showing fleets of Dominion warships.
The "Freedom Caucus" is such a fucking joke.
More like Freedom Cucks.
And stupid.
No. I think he's just tired of me telling him to take his tin foil hat off. he's a smart guy, but he just wanted Hillary to be super guilty of something for some reason. I think it stems from him being in the military. Those guys have a habit of thinking with their hearts and not with their brains.
he's a smart guy, but he just wanted Hillary to be super guilty of something for some reason.
When will people start holding others accountable for believing the GOP's completely obvious bullshit? Like at what point can we say that their judgment is obviously compromised? BECAUSE IT IS.
He will go down in history as the man who fell on his sword. History will also remember him as the man who rose from his knees, pulled out the same sword, and swung back at the GOP.
Better FBI recruiting commercial than the one with the Marine swordfighting the dragon.
It's a TV Series, even better!
Please be HBO!
There needs to be a "(your city name) against Nazis" in every city.
I'm so afraid of the Boomer generation. I just talked to my dad about this hearing taking place and asked him about it, and he sided with the Republicans. He's not a Republican himself, nor does he watch Fox News, but he's fallen for the propaganda that "both sides are the same" and that "everyone is corrupt". I ended up having to give him another lecture (like a child, which irritates me because he's nearly three times my age) about why you shouldn't take the Republicans at their word, and he ultimately agreed with me, but this happens almost every week. I'll try to educate him, pull some facts and easily-proven examples of wrongdoing exclusive to the right-wing, have some fun and watch a few documentaries here and there with him, but he reverts back to his black and white views within a week.
There's something fundamentally wrong with the Boomer generation. They have drunk the koolaid of political propaganda for decades until their minds have been soaked, and deep down in their core they have become changed beyond recognition. I'm not even sure it's exclusive to Boomers, but older generations all over the world seem to be mentally degraded and inextricably politically charged. Looking back on Ireland's repeal of the abortion ban as an example, it was all young women in favor of the repeal and almost exclusively old hags that wanted the government to take away womens' right to choose. Too many old people are brazen in their ignorance, proud in their lack of knowledge, and stuck in their twisted ideals so tightly that not even a jackhammer can free them. This is what we're up against: The most gullible generation ever being fed propaganda from all angles and at all times. I fear they can't be saved, but even moreso, I fear their apathy and scholarly negligence will doom the world if we don't outnumber them when it comes time to save Democracy.
I'm glad you mentioned older generations all over the world, because my parents are part of a minority religious community in Florida that acts exactly like what you describe, and they're not even Caucasian.
99.9% of America is not watching. Especially Trump supporters. They'll only watch a few soundbites FOX chooses to show that makes the FBI look bad.
Us users of r/politics is not a representative sample of the American public watching. People just don't care. They don't pay attention. They're too busy going to work, worrying about bills, taking their kids to soccer practice to take the work (and yes this is work) to stay on top of what our government is doing. It lets Republicans do what they want, because so few people are actually paying attention.
It would be nice to see something like an ad budget to persuade people to care about the workings of government added to a political platform, something like "working to increase civic engagement" or whatever.
This is like the opposite of a undercover cop posing as a prostitute. It'd be like pretending to be a "John," soliciting sex, and then arresting the prostitute. But why???
Also, no mention is made of a patron complaining, resisting, or removing themseld from the stage area to avoid contact with Clifford. So these officers weren't rescuing helpless citizens from sexual assault, they saw an opportunity to arrest her (and ultimately discredit her), and took it.
They're MAGAmites who want to help their God Emperor.
It'd be like pretending to be a "John," soliciting sex, and then arresting the prostitute.
I recall this being covered on that documentary "South Park".
Kick-Ass comes to mind.
Extra external batteries for your phone, a chair. Sometimes I’ll buy a trade to read just for a line, and people will ask about it and you can talk comics. It’s not like waiting in line at the DMV or the emergency room, if you’re in line for something it’s because you’re all fans of the same thing probably.
Mueller just needs a case of subpoena pads at this point.
If they do I will start calling ICE on random white people.
According to my co-worker, this is really what it was like in Soviet nations during the Cold War. People calling the secret police on their neighbors, and people disappearing.
"Anti-Antifa"? The double-negative makes it the Fascist Act.
This reads like exactly how I feel about my own high school friends, but we're all guys.
Its so funny when a woman wakes up with perfect makeup and hair. You’ll never see one wake up with a trail of drool out the corner of her mouth.
And the kissing first thing in the morning, like nobody has rank breath.
You'd love Bryce Howard in Jurassic World.
Why?
I'm not attracted to girls who are too pretty, I like the ones who are the girl-next-door or slightly too heavy/thin/athletic. I guess I just don't like the extremes of physical attractiveness and unattractiveness. I'm surprised I got through most of the thread without seeing anything like this.
I am a positively-charged electron so I like it when another electron has a negative quality.
Unless he's an asshole.
Clingy was already mentioned higher up in the thread.

Hmm based on Wikipedia , it’s because people who are “born after 1984 who "bruise easily" like strawberries – meaning they cannot withstand social pressure or work hard like their parents' generation; the term refers to people who are insubordinate, spoiled, selfish, arrogant, and sluggish in work.” While it says it’s Taiwanese in origin, it’s being used all over Asia.
So basically anything the older generation achieve is based on their own hard work but whatever millennials (like Mark Zuckerberg) has achieved, it’s because we are lucky and that we owe it 100% to our parents.
It’s also being used in a derogatory manner to refer to trends like LGBT rights and environmental protection because for many older people in Asia, such “trends” were unheard of when they were younger and they think it’s because millennials have too much time on their hands as lots of Asian countries like mine are pretty developed now.
For the older generation, their focus was on survival - basic stuff like how to put food on the table because of how impoverished Asia was in the past. They had no time for anything else except work. But for many millennials now, we are focusing more on what the older generation terms “Western ideals”, such as hobbies, self-care and self-improvement. They see this as being impractical, selfish and lazy.
Sorry for the essay =/
meaning they cannot withstand social pressure or work hard like their parents' generation
Maybe if our parents' generation could withstand social pressure and work hard, they could learn how to send a fucking email or change their password.
What a stupid fucking moron

At a certain point I wonder if our allies will drop intelligence on Americans of what they have on Trump.
You didn't read about the Dutch hackers who spied on Russian hackers for a year before alerting the NSA?

What if we recruited sympathetic Russians who have a good grasp on the English and Russian language?
How do you screen these people for those looking to subvert the operation?
I guess happy would mean content and grateful. I'd like to feel it most of the day.
Getting some CBT books from the library and completing the exercises is a good start.
Of note, dude smoked pot and shouldn't have had a gun.
Also of note, the video isn't super helpful in determining what exactly happened.
Shouldn't have happened regardless, cops are too trigger happy, but he's not some completely innocent person either.
dude smoked pot
Philando Castile sounds cooler than you.

This man is becoming quite the activist. I've always thought of him as quite the hungry lawyer. Perhaps both of these things happen to align for now.
It's nice seeing new heroes rise when others fall.
I like how they try to claim that abortions could kill the next Einstein or whatever, but yet have no inclination to help house, feed and educate the poor kids that are already born.
claim that abortions could kill the next Einstein
An abortion could have killed the next Hitler too.
So far I find that I like the forward citrus taste of New Amsterdam gin as opposed to others that are more juniper- or herbal-forward. Any recommendations for other citrus-forward gins that would appeal to my palate?
edit: Thanks for the great recommendations and prompt responses! Gins like Malfy, Tanq 10 and Rangpur sound like exactly what I was looking for.
