Me and Bryant have very different opinions on immigration but people should give him a chance in other areas. He’s an imperfect ally but he IS an ally and has shown growth in the short time I’ve known him. You are fully entitled to your opinions though. Not trying to antagonize.

Wait... I've always supported LGBTQ folks dude. That's kinda hurtful. I support DACA, I rescue injured and lost UDA's for a living. I am not the entire government.

Bryant you don’t realize how far left the left goes x3 You’ve never been ANTI-gay or anything but your views have broadened. It’s subtle and in the way you talk about things. Subtle.

I've stood and marched and protested for LBGTQ Rights Pepper. I believe strongly in marriage equality and said years ago they should have just applied the V vs Loving decision to it.

This maybe difficult to grasp when you're not in the situation, but you can do good work while attached to something bad. But the bad eats at you. Gallows humor is what gets you by. From talking with Bryant, it would be hard for me to believe that he seriously caries such views.
-
It's made exceptionally frustrating when you can't speak out out the bad part. You want to, but you can't. If you want to argue that point with me, please first cite one Edward Snowden.
-
It might be difficult to grasp if you're not in the situation but children are being ripped from there parents, but into concentration camps, and being mentally, physically, and sexually abused. Sorry that my humor isn't mature enough to find that shit joke coping worthy. Sicko.

Look, there's no need for name calling. I'm not defending family separation, and if you were to review my TL you'd see I'm very vocal against it. I've been an integral part to life saving efforts. But that project was funded by an unfavorable agency.
-
It's a hugely toxic place to be in when you can't voice your outrage at what goes on just a few doors down from your office. And since you can't discuss your work, you can't clarify that you have nothing to do with the bad stuff. All you can do is take it.
-
You either learn to laugh at yourself, or go insane. I guess leaving would be an option too, but the direct result of that becomes undeserved suffering of a people you can no longer help.
-
Coddle the border patrol harder I'm sure that helps the victims. You sack up and gain a spine and a moral compass you don't make deportation jokes. You're all spineless if you work for machine and get surprised when you're called a cog.
-
Personally, my work has nothing to do with Border Patrol. I was part of an effort that pulled people out of human trafficking rings and returned them home. Think what you want, but if you have a problem with that work, then idk what you think your doing makeing moral arguments.
