Damn. I’m all for being professional but that man has literally no integrity. Lied to your face in front of everybody publicly. Truly someone with privilege who believes he can get away with it against people’s will!!
-
It's not entirely true either, see his response. I believe
@Ocasio2018 should move on from intra-party squabbles and putting petty grievances on Twitter & focus on being productive and positive for the fall, because GOP & Trump are the real rivals. -
How are you using her own point against her? He lost what he thought was a comfortable primary, now *he* should put that behind him and let her run. "3rd party challenge" = Republican representative. Easy math
-
Read the article - he isn’t choosing to run as a 3rd party and has endorsed her

That’s literally incorrect. I know it’s easy to succumb to outrage against establishment politicians but that’s not what’s happening here. He has fully endorsed her full stop.
-
actually it is correct, incumbents will traditionally remove themselves from the ballot by nominally running for a lesser office and crowley has not only refused to do that but has incorrectly claimed that he can’t do so without moving.
-
And his excuse that he has to live there to run there is doubly hilarious, since he hasn't lived in the district he "represented" for over a decade.

The power brokers behind the Democratic Party would rather lose to a Republican than win with a progressive. We've seen this over and over again these last several years.
-
In the 1989’s the Dems left the working class behind for their elite donors which is why they came up with the superdelegates shit. SD are there to override the will of the base. Progressives are a threat to elites.
-
They left much earlier than that. Look to when the DNC kicked out union leaders in favor of business leaders in the 70’s.
-
True. But now they're not even pretending anymore. Only the most die hard Kool Aid drinkers and
#StillWithHer crowd are willfully ignorant about what's going on anymore. -
See this kind of talk is the reason why Trump is in office. People still their feelings over Bernie Sanders need to get over it he lost and if y'all keep on playing this game or blame Trump will be back in there in 20 20

This is a ridiculous take. Democrats ARE the progressives. Stop with the all or nothing mentality; it is a losing proposition.
-
Nope, sorry. Dems no longer have a progressive platform. I'm at the point of believing that Progressives should have a separate party...I campaigned for Obama and I'm considered a founding member of OFA. Voted Dem all my life but the party no longer represents Progressive values.

Take it to DM, both of you. Right now. Even
#AltGov doesn’t settle differences this way. I don’t care who started it. Work it out in private. You’re both adults. Start acting like it.pic.twitter.com/bbk1mCSWxZ -
This is not a private dispute. This speaks into the workings and the ideology of the Democratic party, and voters deserve to understand what happens when the cameras are turned off.
-
A fair response. If
@Ocasio2018 has truly exhausted her ability to reach@repjoecrowley and hold him to his word, it is entirely appropriate to bring it to the public. Hopefully they both come to the table immediately,@repjoecrowley holds to his word, and they end this. -
I'd say Mounting a Third-Party Challenge is a clear intent not to negotiate. At that point *He* made it public--unless we are supposed to vote for him through our psychic brain-wave attunement.
-
He didn't put his name up there. Hell AOC made a big deal of winning a primary she didn't even enter for the Reform Party (but said clearly she was running as a Dem) The logic you're using says that she mounted a 3rd-party campaign
