Description

To initialize or reset a SafeNet USB Token Device password please follow the steps below.

NOTE: By completing the steps below, if your certificate has already been installed, your certificate will be removed as this process will delete the contents of the SafeNet USB Token Device.

1. Insert the SafeNet USB Token Device into the computer
    
2. From the start menu, please run the SafeNet Authentication Client Tools program.
    
3. Select the Gear icon for advanced view.
   
    
4. On the left hand side, right click on PKI Token-ALADDIN-VRSN, and select Initialize Token.
   
    
5. In the section Create Token Password, enter you new Token Password and select Start.
   
    
6. Select OK to reset all the token parameters.
   
    
7. After the SafeNet USB Token Device has been reset, you will now be able to install new certificates on to the token with your new password.
