So an engineer using his own time and resources and at his own expense comes up with an idea to help and in conjunction and consultation with the divers on the ground as to what they need as a back up plan the only comments are so negative sad to read
-
This is the tweet I sent to the Guardian In reply to other people being so disrespectful
@elonmusk should not have to explain any of this so sad -
So true. People on social media write whatever the hell they want, without giving it an inch of thought that it might discourage the few remaining souls with good intent who wants to do good for the world.

No matter what you do or say, haters are gonna hate. But, no matter what the haters do or say, those who love and appreciate your vision and your work aren't going to stop supporting you. I tend to believe that there are more people who do appreciate what you do.
-
I agree. It's a case of haters (of Elon and his teams) are loud and obnoxious, too enamored with hearing their own voices spewing lies and negativity.
-
I somehow feel sorry for them. Must be really sad being a soul whose only source of "joy" is spreading hatred and negativity all over the place like a disease.
-
I feel sorry for them as well. Some folks have messed up priorities in life if what they fixate upon is their own jealousy and annoyance at someone's sincere efforts to help a third party.

Keep on rocking man. Ignore the naysayers. What you give people is...hope. Hope that maybe there is an Elon Musk and his best of the best team out there, to keep on fighting for another breath of air. Hope, is a good thing.

and by that you and your team could really design the build the pod in no time and fly it to the place where it could be used if needed. And you did! That makes every engineer (me included) proud of there provision.

For some people, nothing is good enough... - If you don't offer your help (publicly): "But he's a billionaire!!" - If you donate: "But he has access to the most advanced technology!" - If you and your team are working on a solution: "He's just promoting his hi-tech stuff!"

Billionaire in general, on top of having a negative connotation, elicits a social response in either extreme. The havoc
@Tesla in particular has caused within the auto/energy industry and you've got a damn big target. Your love and commitment to science, engineering, and your... -

@60Minutes interview referencing Neil Armstrong and others. I can’t wait to do my own small part investing in future generations advancement, be that by pavement, or amongst the stars. Thank you for leading the way.
