normal. im not making this shit up for attention, i made these posts because me and almost everyone else in my circle of friends grew up online and was taken advantage of both emotionally and sexually as a result. it's traumatic and im tired of ppl sweeping it under the rug

when i was a younger teen in the furry fandom i met all kinds of unsavory people. one called me his little sister while simultaneously writing porn about my fursona. one ended up sexually abusing and stalking me over a period of years, and showed me porn when i was 11.

these kinds of things happen literally all the time, and it ALWAYS happens under the guise of fandom folks seeming friendly and approachable. a mentor figure in some form or another. and they keep getting away with it because this fandom would rather ignore its problems

i frankly dont owe explanation that to you or anyone else, but this shit needs to be talked about. every time some shit comes up about age regression being an "acceptable" kink, the only thing i can think about is the kids exposed to it who are going to be fucked up for life

so if you want me to talk about it, thats me talking about it. what ive found is that "talking about it" generally gets you nowhere in a fandom space. all you can do is put your foot down and say exactly what you will and will not tolerate, and thats exactly what im doing.

..... I see. First off, what happened to you is horrible and should've never happened. I'm aware of the many slimeballs who gotten away with abusive moments when I first joined in 2007, even while we fight the "bestiality" stigma the community was still very unstable.

It was slight but if the right people were to learn about what happened them something would've been done about the sick fuck. I've also seen that most of any abuse happens because the victims are guilt into silence, learned that one the hard way...
