    I'm going to seek professional help to fix my depression, paranoia and suicidal tendencies. I'm going to be away from all sorts of social media for I dunno how long. I will also spend my time more to my family, especially my mom. This is Riz, signing out. 😊

    Parents must teach their child how to be physically and mentally strong to hunt animals and defend their people from rival tribes. If you guys have studies that support/debunk my assumptions please let me know. I'm really curious at this x.x

    I always assume one of the biggest reasons why some parents let their kids exposed to violent media was because such parenting was inherited from way back when we were hunters and gatherers.

    We always strive for something that we can relate to, especially when we are being isolated from the rest of the peers. The downside of this, my student drowning herself in YanSim and creepypastas because she thought she could relate to them only amplify her problems.

    i do see how if your already down in the dumps playing that game or really taking in any other "depressing" media could easily make it worse

    I also taught parents to look for video game rating system before letting their child play it. Told them to tell the child that it's just a video game. Lastly told them to be more open and tolerant to her interest, because it'll make her trust them and more open to them.

    I implored the council not to put the blame on her and things she loved, and I implored her parents to be more open to her and not giving her more pressures to make her "ladylike" as she needs all the time and support for her to heal.

    I advised her to play other games that bring peaceful thoughts to her, such as Slime Rancher and Stardew Valley. Whether she listened to the advise or not I don't know. But since then she began to be more open to me and the school council.
