Admittedly, I don’t have a high opinion of “the babyfur community”. I have seen it fail to self-enforce basic standards. There’s serious problems w failing to denounce those who sexualize kids, and those who push boundaries. But that still doesn’t justify the rhetoric I’ve seen

There’s a LOT wrong with the babyfur community. Certain aspects of it, I think might be far beyond redemption But many participants are people going through significant trauma and pain, and this is the one way that they have found to access this makeshift form of therapy

[CSA] To make my position clear: sexualizing children in any way is unquestionably wrong. CP/ loli/ cub porn/ etc is unacceptable. Predators use that material to normalize abuse when grooming children online. But an adult sitting there with a coloring book isn’t hurting anyone.

addendum It is VALID to be uncomfortable with that stuff. you have the right to feel what you feel, and you have the right to say “I don’t want to see/interact with that” but you don’t have the right to accuse people of unthinkable atrocities just bc you think they’re gross
