I mean...he hasn't exactly showed restraint when it comes to people telling him he shouldn't meet (insert Christorical Figure here) in the past, so I wouldn't really be surprised if that's the case again.

 

I peaked in chat and saw a bit about this. It certainly seems more plausible than Chris getting handsy imo. Hope he's ok. Regardless of the involvement this 'CJ' is a moron. Go get 'em @Null.

 

You might not have said it directly, I misspoke. You did imply it by saying several times that Chris acts juts fine around people in public. I mean, this is worse than Bronycon, he was perfectly fine there. I wonder if Chris went to Too Many Gays emboldened by his newfound celebrity and thinking he could get away with more at a small, dinky con.

Heh, Chris refusing to talk about a person is a huge, glaring red flag.

I've never encountered Chris refusing to talk about someone he's talking to before Idea Guy. Before idea guy, someone could always cajole the information out of any I HAVE AUTISM PLEASE LAUGH AT ME who was trying to sidle into Chris' good graces.

I didn't mean to imply that. I frequently talk about how Chris is weird IRL. Just saying that the idea that Chris is constantly (constantly as in: more often than once every 3-4 years) getting into crazy, completely outrageous shenanigans. I think a bunch of people believe that Chris is a hair trigger, when things are actually much more chill than that.

It's possible, but I'm not sure what else he would be trying though.

There was kissing people's cheeks, but they usually warn you a bit before the banhammer comes out. It's possible he got warned and brushed it off. That's certainly within range of Chris behavior.

Although I'm really suspicious of this CJ fellow. He's definitely a troll. And based on the sperging on Chris' twitter, there's some serious hateful dipshits out there. And this guy had Chris: 1) stay quiet about his existence 2) really wanted to meet Chris IRL.

If @Null says he's going to get to the bottom of this and expose anyone that needs to be exposed.. It'll happen.

Let's say Chris did just act a fool and CJ isn't at fault what so ever, what actions if any are you going to take? My assumption since you both are respectable people are just wiping your hands helping Chris but a stern talking to etc?

 

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Just that he absolutely refused to talk about it and obviously disagreed with Null's assessment is indicative that something shady is going on.

 

None. What am I going to do? I can read some emails and make life easier that way but I'm not like, PayDay's Bain or Batman's Alfred.

One of Chris's biggest enemies is his libido combined with lack of judgement and self control.
It's why Megan doesn't talk to him anymore, it's why he was tricked by so many trolls posing as women, and it's why he couldn't stop touching girls till he got kicked out of TMG.

 

Chris has been great at taking advice as of late.. If this was his own fault I'd be genuinely disappointed. But I suspect this was someone messing with him.

 

Chris seems to really not grasp when given a ok for contact, there's often a limit of what's ok. When someone hugs a woman you will press their chest, that's the human body, Chris seems to think/feel/want this would also mean a titty grab is cool.

That could be it. I believe that when people say he's kissing them on the cheeks, it's been said a bunch of times. I think he thinks of himself like a big flirt -- I can't really put into words what I mean, but you know that over the top french sex idol stereotype that does those platonic kisses? That's what he was probably going for.

 

Yikes. That probably led up to him being kicked out, including other reasons if there were any.

 

It's not looking good for Chris all the sudden...
