Charter Communications, West Region is currently seeking Technical Support Representatives for our Internet and Phone Repair Team in Colorado Springs, CO.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides advanced troubleshooting of Spectrum High Speed Internet and Digital Phone products and services. The Internet and Phone Repair Team educates and supports Spectrum customers regarding all aspects of High Speed Internet and Digital Phone products and services including equipment, hardware, and software, in a high-volume/ high-energy inbound call center environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: •Provide technical support of all Spectrum Internet and Digital Phone products and services •Receive incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries in a manner which meets high quality, productivity and performance standards •Respond to customer issues in a professional manner. •Attempt to resolve issues successfully in accordance with established guidelines •Inform management of all unresolved issues •Work with a diverse team to investigate, assess, and resolve issues •Understand and educate customers about all Spectrum products and services •Retain customers through great customer service
JOB REQUIREMENTS: •Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues over the phone •One to two years working in a fast paced, customer support environment requiring telephone, e-mail, or face- to-face interaction •One to two years experience providing technical support for broadband products (internet, voice, and/or video) •An understanding of network hardware and software associated with local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and Internet Protocols (IP) •Knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems, email, DNS, and/or web-hosting •Internet Telephony is helpful •Technical education, job experience, or a combination of both •A high school diploma or equivalent is required
