YPG & ISIS cells try to assasinate important figures in ES areas or try to kill mass of people. However, many attempts were prevented by security forces. This time, they tried to kill the adviser of the Syrian Turkmen National Assembly president

If YPG can't even cooperate with a group who helped them in the most hard times against ISIS in Kobane, how can someone expect them to cooperate with other groups and societies. YPG ruled areas are a one party autocracy. They also pushed Jarba's Elite Forces out of Raqqa before

Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa is the last group in the area which has experience in governing Raqqa city before ISIS took over. Now, they are being attacked and forced out of their home city by marxist-lenninist YPG

Locals hate the YPG and the YPG is suppressing any alternative. Many in YPG ruled areas would welcome Turkey and Syrian organization/brigades who are supported by Turkey. However, the US still insisting to work with the YPG/PKK

Previously, Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa had some meetings with Arab tribes and the group has also contacts to Turkey with its political office inside Turkey. YPG fears any other alternative them itself. Locals in Raqqa and many other areas hate the marxist-lenninist YPG

Tensions between YPG and Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa are'nt new. After the battle of Kobane, YPG promised LTR to speerhead the Raqqa operation & govern the city. Later, YPG arrested their leader in a house prison. Forced the group out of the Raqqa operation and assasinated some leaders

Liwa Thuwwar Raqqa fought alongside the YPG in Kobane against ISIS, opened the way for the SDF coalition, but later they were isolated by YPG due to them insisting on their own autonomy and not accepting becoming a YPG front group. Now, YPG is besieging their HQs in Raqqa:

Sorry, aber jedem Erdogan-Wähler(!!!) abzusprechen, in einem demokratischen Land leben zu wollen, ist grundfalsch und kontralogisch. Genau mit solchen Thesen treibt man die Türken - besonders in Deutschland - in die Arme ihres „starken Mannes“.

You see the lady down the picture? Up until a month ago, she was the 'strong lady who will replace Erdogan' according to the beloved 'Turkey analysts' crew. She has now come 4th even after Demirtas. Getting Turkey wrong is easy because you can sell any crap for analysis.

Where HDP lost votes and where they got more shows: Less Kurds voted for them, more Turks voted (strategically) for them.

For the Syrian context: Syrian rebel brigades in ES, Afrin and Idlib congratulated Erdogan to his election win. YPG and the regime (who don’t have free elections in their areas at all) are sad about Erdogan winning. HTS is silent until now

One can say anything about Turkey and the election, but one thing is for sure: Election results in Turkey have an international impact. A big part of the world is following the Turkish elections either supporting Erdogan or opposing him. This indicates the weight of Turkey
