Hospital can not legally do a surgery without the family saying yes. The doctors are required to explain clearly what they're going to do and the surgery can only be done after the family understands and signs an agreement form. It's called informed consent.

Yes, that was what I was told by the family friend: a swolen liver, kidney damage, and intestinal (tissue) damage.

I understand that. Im just wondering where the misunderstanding happened between the family friend saying most of Riz's intensine was removed and Riz clarifying that there was no surgery. Like how did the family friend come to that conclusion.

They saw there was a torn detergent package and immediately thought I drank bleach. They probably did a quick Google search on the symptoms and assume the worst but that's just my guess... X.x

Ah ok that makes sense. I'm really glad you didn't have to go through surgery, it's a relief after having my heart sink at the news you suffered multiple organ damage.
