For people who not live in these countries it's really hard to understand. I myself am from brazil. One little google search about LGBT rights and Brazil seem to be the safest haven on planet earth. However it is also the place with the MOST lgbt violence on the planet.
The reality of the situation isn't what it seems when you actually live in these places. What's written in the laws and the "Pretty lies" you see on TV don't mention at all the horrors people still suffer.
