I was about to commit suicide until my mom reasoned with me. The friends who I threatened were too busy with their project. I understand that but given my situation at that time, I thought they'd understand and at least give me an update instead of "nope sorry we're busy"
The tipping point was when there was an anti-LGBT rally banner endorsed by religious organizations and a religious party near my current place of living that scared the every living fibers of my being.
He DM'd this to a popular Indonesian furry and from there the misconception of me trying to scam people started. And when my family wanted to confirm he just said "nah riz is shit to my friends I don't wanna trust him or have anything to do with him"
I wish I have the ability to made this shit up 
And you know what's bad, when my family told him to take the money if he wants to proof I'm being honest he backed off.
Though I don't agree with you using threats of suicide to get people to help you, I find the fact that this dudes gonna go on a smear campaign just after you attempt suicide alot more scummy.
