I did threaten to commit suicide in end of 2017/early 2018 to my friends who formerly worked on the funding page because of the lack of updates from them as they were preoccupied with their own project. However I can assure you that I have been intimidated by religious mobs.
Threats of harassments made by religious mobs were the reason why me and my family had to move twice between 2016-2017. Regarding about the PC funding, I asked for a PC not my mom's medicine nor ticket to Canada back in 2015. My laptop broke and I was at risk of unable to work.
I did ask my friends whether they could help me with my mom's treatments (her meds are not covered by healthcare) around the time the PC funding was made, but it was a separate occasion.
About the funding for a new home. I made that because my dad was freaking out that we had to move quick. He didn't want to ask for help from relatives due to pride so he asked me to get a quick money. Out of my desperation, I picked the funding page.
The campaign failed because I didn't want to share it. It honestly felt wrong to beg random strangers and I stand to that sentiment except when it comes to my well-being. In this case, I wanted to be free from homophobic mobs.
For years me and my family were financially struggling due to my dad being laid off before retirement. The company he worked did not want to spend more money on retirement benefits.
