Byakue Dai-Kannon

This is the statue of Goddess of Mercy with the height of 41.8 meters and the weight of 6,000 tons. Since the built in 1936, this statue is loved by the citizens as the symbol of Takasaki. Visitors can walk inside the statue up to the height of its shoulder.

    ・　Individuals: 300 yen for high school students and older, 100 yen for junior-high school students and younger
    ・　Groups (over 30 persons): 200 yen for high school students and older, 50 yen for junior-high school students and younger
    ・　Disabled guest: free (Must show a Physical Disability Certificate)

  • ・　About 20 minutes by bus from JR Takasaki Station + about 10 minutes on foot
    ・　About 25 minutes by car from Takasaki IC of Kan-Etsu Expressway
