I've emailed and DM'd several LGBT activists and some of them spreaded the word. But they were like a handful out of dozens I asked.

Earlier this year, trans women in my country were rounded up & dehumanized by police by stripping them off and cut their hair before sending them into "correctional program"
The fact that fellow LGBT+ in the West are too busy parading made my blood boil.

This is absolutely sickening to hear... Like trans people here think they have problems but the lgbt+ folks are literally going through hell right now... All I can say is I'm sorry... I'll spread the word. yall have to be heard.

Trans people here are still dying. we can care about everyone and not belittle what happens here because something else awful happens elsewhere. Someone always has it worse but that doesn't make issues here less valid.

No, she’s mad at the fact that The West doesn’t pay much attention to the horrible things that are happening to the LBGT in other countries.

Ofc I don’t speak for everyone, but the reason why the West aren’t paying much attention is because they don’t know. Even if they do know, what can they do? Nothing. Except tweeting about how angry they are and expect the morale of a 3rd country to change in an instant.

The community in the west has made its own problem by making islamaphobia extend to also not attacking the ones that are homophobic and transphobic and the people that didnt help spread the word either dont care (god that makes me angry) or is too afraid
