And no, they aren't "very fine people". I was raised a feminist, a liberal, and a believer in protecting rights. He was saying they have no power online. Do I agree? Not necessarily, but this was hyperbolic.

There were actually decent people on both sides (right: protesting removal of a statue & left: opposing the statue and/or hate groups that attended) Then hate groups such as kkk and antifa. Antifa caused most of the violence that day.
