The SDF was the first to support the independence referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan, promised to open its border for Irbil, and now the Iraqi government is awarding them with aerial support that's costing Iraqi people tens of thousands of dollars,,,, traitors

The strikes themselves have more to do with the SY/IQ/RU/IR coordination center in Baghdad than they do with SDF and Coalition. Otherwise Iraq would be providing Close Air Support and not just selected Strikes. There's a difference in those two missions.

would you drop dozens of 20k bombs in support of a force which took very serious steps to threaten the unity of your country ?

There are no "dozens" let's be real now. What Iraq is flying is completely separate from the coalition and it's to target ISIS leadership based on intelligence gathered by the Falcons. Some of that has been provided by Russia. (1/2)

(2/2) Iraq takes those missions because the terrorists would otherwise be ignored and they can operate east of the Euphrates without trouble. It's not support on the frontlines. Don't get me wrong, I don't support SDF whatsoever.

I didn't get you wrong, what I'm saying is what the Iraqi government is doing is against the national interest of Iraq, for example we got info on ISIS in western Daraa, do we bomb them and give the FSA an advantage there ? no because it's against our interest

If that were the case then Russia, Syria, and Iran, wouldn't be sending Officers to Baghdad every week.

our officers are there to coordinate on the areas which are under our control and as a back line with the coalition, still I don't see how it is within the interest of Iraq to facilitated the SDF advance along its border.

The Crowds stationed on the border have been getting attacked almost every day since December 9th because ISIS keeps trying to break through Tal Sefok to reach the Jazeera Desert and regroup inside Iraq like before 2014.

The Syrian Government didnt protest the strikes, and Iraq said that all strikes that happen in Syria would be coordinated with Damascus. Other than that, Assad legitimized the SDF in his RT speech when he called them "Syrians who love their country" Let Iraq strike ISIS, why not?

He's obviously giving SDF the road to integration. And given SDF's "unconditional meetings" and readiness for "open minded negotiations" it seems they'd like that too. If that doesn't work out, then at least SAA will only need to worry about SDF, and not hidden ISIS sleeper cells

SDF definitely aren't terrorists, regardless of some Jaafari remarks. I'll call them traitors if negotiations fail. But as far as I'm concerned, the YPG is a Syrian force that the Syrian government supported the creation of way back in 2011. They'll be reasonable in negotiations.

We remember that is was the failures of the Iraqi army that let isis in to Syria in the first place, every battle they need 150000 men to fight isis or else they would drop their guns and war machines and run.

Oh please. It had more to do with desertions in 2013 because soldiers' families were being threatened, corruption in the high ranks, and units running out of ammunition. All you're doing is feeding into the narrative of Barzani fanboys with this nonsense.

What nonsense, the fact 15000 troops droped their arms and ran from a few hundred isis in Mosul, what part of this is not true, everyone knows how cowardly the Iraqi army was still is.

Yeah, and you would too if you ran out of ammunition after fighting for 7 days without re-supply. The US left Iraq in 2011 without developing a definitive Logistics network for entire Divisions, hence why the soldiers ran into trouble. Read it again.

Distorting the facts how? You made a bold accusation and I countered it. When your leadership betrays you and there is no definitive way to stop the terrorists, the effort falls apart. I don't care about your opinion on "dying like a man", it's just talk on here.

So where did isis get all that iriaqi ammo, humvees, anti tank missiles, tanks, tank ammunition, iraqi attillary and ammo etc. was this the ammo they had run out of?

There's a difference between the munitions in the field and those in storage. Good luck pulling out crates of ammo to reload each mag round-by-round. Even then the units were being cut off from one another before ISIS took the munition dump. The guys at Tal Afar ran out.
