This is pretty weak. Surprised to see it coming from you. Can't lie, it's a bit disappointing....

How is it weak? Its completely right. He turned his back on people who stood by him through all the shit WWE put him through.
-
So what was he supposed to do stay and eat shit?
-
WWE is not the only wrestling company in the world.
-
if he didn"t want to wrestle anymore, why would he?

Kinda like when you turned your back on your principles for the Saudi oil money? No anger, only sadness.
-
Damn, that's a good point.

This is a really poor take.

This guy doesn’t even want to acknowledge he was a pro wrestler..doesn’t talk about the business at all..has ignored plenty of friends (i’m sure you can ask around)..only reason anybody cares about him is bec of the WWE. He did plenty of worse to his body in the indies

@CMPunk doesn’t owe anyone anything. I don’t get this mentality. -
He turned his back on all his wwe friends that’s the point. He stopped replying to their texts and messages and completely cut them out. That’s what he’s trying to say

Man quit a job that was making him unhappy and not medically giving a damn about him to go and follow his dream, and he achieved it. No shame.
-
How did he achieve it. His 2 match run was an embarrassment. The first fight took forever kept getting pushed back. Then he got destroyed by a guy taking wedding reception photos last weekend. If that’s achieving your dream I never want to achieve mine.
-
Doesn't matter. He wanted to fight in the octagon. He did. Twice. He lost the first fight. An embarrassing loss. But picked himself up and tried again, all while being sued in the process.
-
Exactly. His goal was to fight in the octagon. I don't think he ever expected to win, he just wanted to do it. A bucket list accomplishment. Guys like Angle and Taker used to say they would've tried UFC if they had a chance back in the day. But they didn't. Punk has.
-
Punk is the guy who doesn't want to look back on his life and have regrets that he didn't at least try the things he wanted to do. I have a lot of respect for that attitude.
-
Well I’m glad you guys are happy for him. I think he’s soft and over rated
-
Overrated is one word
